What it costs
Every price is per person. You each pay your own share, and you'll know the cost of a session before you book it.

Family Mediation Voucher Scheme. Cases involving arrangements for children may qualify for a government contribution of up to £500 towards mediation costs, paid directly to the mediator. [CONFIRM scheme status and Lucy's authorisation to issue vouchers before publishing.]
What's included
In the session fee
- The session itself, in person or online
- Preparation and my notes afterwards
- Short emails and calls between sessions
- The room, if we meet in Guildford
Charged separately
- Written documents, priced above
- Any expert you both instruct — a pensions actuary or surveyor, for example
- Your own solicitor's fees, if you use one
- The court fee for a consent order
How payment works
Sessions are paid for in advance by bank transfer. I'll send an invoice with the details when we confirm a time. [CONFIRM: cancellation terms — the suggested wording in Terms is 48 hours' notice for a full refund. Adjust to what Lucy actually wants.]
Compared with court
A contested case through solicitors commonly reaches five figures per person and takes a year or more. A full mediation, including the written agreement, usually lands in the several hundreds each and finishes inside a couple of months. That gap is the reason this job exists.
